Fortune Cookie Club means tons of gigs, tons of encounters and a plethora of relentless punk songs. In their 8 years of existence, the band has independently produced 6 EPs, 1 compilation of unreleased tracks and two albums, including L'histoire c'est maintenant, which was nominated at the GAMIQ in 2013 in the "Punk Album of the Year" category. What's more, their music video for Religion Vs. Gin topped Musique Plus' French Top 5 for eleven weeks that same year. They already have over 300 concerts to their credit, including 4 tours of Europe and Quebec with renowned punk-rock bands such as Guerilla Poubelle, Antintellectual, johk, Maladroit, PL Mafia, Useless ID and others. Melodic and hard-hitting, as political as they are poetic, militant but not sectarian, this Quebec-based band has all the qualities of a modern punk band advocating the much-prized DIY ethic. Having worked with a dozen labels and associations over the years, the band is now teaming up with the young Hell For Breakfast label to offer a vinyl debut!
